Custom Elements

I think of these custom elements as built-in sculptures – a work of art that crosses the boundaries of modern decorative art and functional architectural design. Reminiscent of Barcelona’s modernist style, I use solid walnut surrounded by hand stained plywood. The organic shaped cutouts can support stained glass or be left as a void to draw you into the space. Custom railings and banisters incorporate the standards for safety of the present while hinting at the whimsical beauty of the art deco era.
